In Memoriam:
The Model Cars of Harry Charon

(click the image to go back)

Club President Lyle Willits pointed out that while Harry typically built replica stock models, he had a desired to build a phantom (a car that was never produced by a manufacturer but feasibly could have been). But Harry didn't want to build a typical phantom, one where an existing body style is modified into another variant. He wanted to build something more subtle, some that people would notice on a subconscious level and have to think about. Harry acheived his goal with the dilapidated, rusty Corvette above.
